I was browsing and reading through all unread items in my feed reader when I stumbled into this. Considering it is quite a long time this blog is abandoned, why don’t I post about my workstation? The only difference is there’s not gonna be a single picture about my ‘real’ desktop, but only an inside look.
Introducing, Dethbot!
Using Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit (primary OS for work), and Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala (occasionally), my desktop was custom built 2 years ago and no major upgrade since then. The benchmarking software that I use is Speccy, still in beta version but I just can’t say no to Piriform’s software.
One of my important weapon in browsing (and SEO work), Firefox. I do have Google Chrome for alternate option but Firefox is my default browser. Powered by my 15-must have addon including SEO For Firefox.
I used to login and logout of Gmail or using Webmail Notifier on Firefox but not anymore with Thunderbird. Organizing my task have never been simpler with the recently added Lightning and it adds extra edge to communicate with my client regarding our projects. They’re dead easy to use, period.
Traffic Travis is one of the best SEO tools I’ve use and I highly recommend it. The data given isn’t 100% accurate but as I say, it is one of the best FREE tools out there. Please also note that I’m not trying to rank high for the keyword sepat.
Adds up a bit of media player in the name of Songbird. I don’t have much to say about it, except that I dumped iTunes of Apple fame for this.
Finally, FeedDemon to keep up to date with current buzz regardless whether in the virtual or real world and getting ideas for blogging. This thing is damn addictive.
And there’s also software like Yahoo Messenger, CCleaner, and many more but this is the main software I use for working. If you have any better recommendation, please leave a comment. :)

Thanks for the information on traffic travis…gonna try it very soon…
