Yet another scheduled post.
So, how long you’ve been blogging? As for me, its only been a year and a half. My 1st blog is a dot com domain named after myself. It expired few months ago and I decided not to renew it. Then one day I got an email, a feedburner email to be exact from the domain. Sure I’m horrified. It even makes me think that the registrar is a black magic practitioner and inject a soul of a lonely dog been throw out by its owner into the domain and haunts me for abandoning him.
Why didn’t I think about the probability of the domain been bought by someone? Well, for one thing I didn’t expect someone to bought a domain that comprise entirely of my name, and that’s the only reason. Thanks to the new owner, if anyone Google’d my name they think that I am a casino star. Wicked eh. Seriously, I don’t gamble.
I may not being loyal to my blogs back then, but I am now. There’s thousands or possibly millions of blogs created each day, regardless whether self-hosted or free blogs. Do your blogs have what it takes to stand out? Do you think owning a dot com domain is a key factor?
It all comes down to your content. I’ve seen many blogs that produce craps all the time. Duplicate content is one thing, bad usability and shitty behaviour is another. If you don’t like people criticize your blog, please make it private, dumbass. And please don’t write about things you didn’t know or it will make your dumbassness looks bigger.

I would suggest that you mingle with those bloggers that can help you succeed and not those that will use you and turn you down.
Domain extensions doesn’t matter as long as you write good content and connect with the right people then you’re good.
